About

One Club. One Goal. One Future.

Auburn Football club ensures people, young and old, can experience and benefit from our Great game of Football

We are part of the Granville District Soccer and Football Association (GDSFA), we’re one of the largest clubs in our area and pride ourselves on being family-oriented, friendly and committed to ensuring football is enjoyed by everyone.

Auburn FC is a club for all ages and levels of experience. Whether you’re a beginner or a talented player, we have a team for everyone.

Auburn FC can thank many men and woman for their effort in running the club so that in our 5th year we are still running strong.
Also we cannot forget our coaches, managers for their time and in running the teams so that the boys and girls can enjoy the great game of Football.

To the men who had the dream, to the people who have shared their talent, skills, knowledge, their precious time in the past and currently and, to the parents of the children of Auburn and surrounding areas and to the children themselves, we say thankyou.

It takes time to develop tradition within a club and it is only now that our first group of junior boys and girls are starting to make a name for themselves in the various age groups and grades. This provides our new members with something to aspire to that hasn’t previously existed.

As we see our juniors develop it is great to see the sense of loyalty to the club and their keenness to get the best out of themselves for the sake of their team and club.

We would like to think that we have helped these players develop far more than Football skills. The life skills that team sport can teach can prove invaluable in all aspects of life.

The ability to cope with disappointment, to be humble in victory and gracious in defeat, to contribute to a team environment, to deal with pressure, to respect authority, to put back into the club are all traits that will serve people well, irrespective of their ability on a Football field.

Our History

Auburn Football Club Incorporated was established in January 2008 by local residents who also happened to be passionate about Football (Soccer).

Concerned with the local environment and the lifestyle our small children and teenagers were facing, these passionate people decided to form Auburn Football Club to help reach out and connect with the youth. After all, Soccer is the world game.

Auburn FC is a non-profit organization, all monies collected through donations, sponsorships and registrations are spent back into the organization. Everyone involved in the club is a volunteer and will continue to stay this way.

Auburn FC has come a long way since its establishment and proudly boasts over 450 player numbers and over 1000 club followers.
The competition kicks off in April each year; Training and Matches are played at Webb’s Avenue Playing Fields, Auburn NSW 2144.

Our Vision and Values

Auburn FC is committed to ensuring Football is enjoyed by as many individuals as possible.  We are strongly community focussed and strive, through our actions and culture, to enrich the lives of our players and families.

Auburn FC Strives To Be:
  • A great place to enjoy Football;

Our Committee of Volunteers

The exhausting work of running a community football club is never ending.
